is anyone on this? im thinkin about going on but i heard you get heavy periods is this true?

The FDA doesn't recommend using it for more than 2 years, unless you have no other choice. It's bad for a lot of people. Many women have had trouble getting pregnant after using it, or multiple miscarriages, etc. Also, unlike other contraceptive methods, you're stuck with this one, so if you react badly to it in any way, you have to wait 3 months to get rid of it.

I went on Depo-Provera, and my periods stopped for the year I was on it. I went off the shot after a year because I had sever depression fro not having my periods. A hormone imbalance.

i gained 30 pounds in six months wsith depo provera which ios what i think you are talking about. didn't
experience heavier periods though.
