Why and what causes this at a young age? im so scared.

does anyone in your immediate family have a thyroid condition? This could be a Hypothyroid condition, i was diagnosed at 13, you should go to the doctor and tell him about your hair, or look it up on web md and see if you have the other symptoms, like fluctuating body temp, dry skin around elbows, irritability, etc...

It could be. It is called alopecia. Young girls get it sometimes. See your doctor and look for a good wig. I am sorry I know that is not what you want to here. BUT so far there is no successful treatment for it.

well.....yooh are going through puberty.....the best choice wood to ask your mom or doctor.....those are the best choices...professionals.....
