I would ask him when is he going to concentrate on the real issues in this country instead of helping these oil barrons......I want to know what are you going to do about the declining middle class in this country......why aren't there any programs in place that help those that are already contributing and viable members of society (taxpayers).....why are their only programs and health benefits for the poor and those that don't contriubute anything in this country? When are you going realize that without supporting the middle class our economy will surely suffer.
How many more lives must we spare in Iraq before you realize what real problems the US has? Focus more on North Korea right now instead of your buddies.

I, too, think it would be an exercise in futility, as another answerer said. This president's agenda was set before he entered office. It never has been about GW Bush, the man. What is all this talk about how does he sleep at night? They just take his puppet strings off for the night, and put him back in his box. He didn't get where he is by knowing what is going on. His father was/is a very powerful man with powerful connections. These are people who are out of touch with reality and how it affects any of us. They are American aristocracy. They feel entitled to their positions of wealth and influence, and have contempt for those of us intelligent enough to question their motives. Just as GW and his cabinet would not care to hear any of our questions- if you ask me, the feeling is mutual. We've heard enough lies to last a lifetime.

PINK LYRICS
"Dear Mr. President"
(feat. Indigo Girls)
Dear Mr. President
Come take a walk with me
Let's pretend we're just two people and
You're not better than me
I'd like to ask you some questions if we can speak honestly
What do you feel when you see all the homeless on the street
Who do you pray for at night before you go to sleep
What do you feel when you look in the mirror
Are you proud
How do you sleep while the rest of us cry
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye
How do you walk with your head held high
Can you even look me in the eye
And tell me why
Dear Mr. President
Were you a lonely boy
Are you a lonely boy
Are you a lonely boy
How can you say
No child is left behind
We're not dumb and we're not blind
They're all sitting in your cells
While you pave the road to hell
What kind of father would take his own daughter's rights away
And what kind of father might hate his own daughter if she were gay
I can only imagine what the first lady has to say
You've come a long way from whiskey and cocaine
How do you sleep while the rest of us cry
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye
How do you walk with your head held high
Can you even look me in the eye
Let me tell you bout hard work
Minimum wage with a baby on the way
Let me tell you bout hard work
Rebuilding your house after the bombs took them away
Let me tell you bout hard work
Building a bed out of a cardboard box
Let me tell you bout hard work
Hard work
Hard work
You don't know nothing bout hard work
Hard work
Hard work
Oh
How do you sleep at night
How do you walk with your head held high
Dear Mr. President
You'd never take a walk with me
Would you

I would ask him, just like this: Mr President, during the next two years, when you have nothing to lose and you don't need big business or big money's backing any longer, will you please concentrate on balancing the budget, even it it means raising taxes, and bringing the troops home from Iraq?

Why does he let public and world opinion sway his decisions on whether or not to escalate the war in Iraq when a lot of people I know would like to see us go in and kick *** so less of our troops are casualties and this turn into a Vietnam type conflict where there is no plan for victory? That's right VICTORY not withdrawal.

I would ask him why he does not care about all the bad things that people say about him.
Then I would ask him to never stop doing his best to protect the American people.

I would ask:
"Why do you not use your bully pulpit to upbraid the Democrats for all their partisan hatred that undermines America's interests? Why do you let the ultra-liberal press get away unchallenged with asking terribly slanted questions? Why the failure to respond to the treasonous chirpings of the left?"

Is he really that stupid, or does he just play a moron on TV?
I'm hoping that the candidates in the next presidential election are people who I could see running the country, not just running the country into the ground.
Have a nice day. :)

I would not sit in a room with him. I only have about 50 years left on earth (if I'm lucky) and I don't want to waste a single moment of that time with him. He'd lie anyway or say something that would make me want to vomit, so there's no point.

My question is similar to yours. I would like to ask him how he can sleep at night with the state the country is in, and all of our brave men and women dying in Iraq and Afghanistan.
