When your male the need to procreate has more to do with what you can get than what they look like. That's the way the game is played. On the primal level everything humans do deep down is rooted in trying to show off our colors, the mating dance, to see who wants you.
What we used to do through colorful dances and feats of skill we now try to do with cars, houses, clothes, money, looks etc.
Deep down it is still just a mating dance
Even education "I'm smart, I have survival skills, I would make a good mate"

The need for sex is built in, stronger in others. But to procreate, supermodels are a bad choice as their body type doesn't "market" fertility. Thankfully I never had to look like a supermodel to be popular in school, get shagged and get a great job. Beauty doesn't get you very far if you're a totally dumb b1tch...

Our society is obsessed with looks and sex, if that is what you mean. About looks -- school, jobs, and normal things take that into consideration. If you apply for a job and you look grudgy then most likely you will not get the job.
And about sex--- I do not think that jobs and school really you know pay attention to something like that.
And sex and looks come hand in hand. Most people want to do someone who looks like a supermodel.

No,but it is a large part of modern day life.People like to see fine looking young sexually mature people in their prime of life. They like all living things reproduce in a sexual way.The fondness for seeing others in their sexually prime time of life is used by business for the purpose of making sales,to the point it has become the expected way of life.
This also applies with drink with Soaps like Coronation Street being based around a public house. It's on the TV it must be normal, some people even believe these programs are real.

No. I don't think that everyone has to look like a supermodel. Just look outside, there's plenty of ugly people who are procreating.

It always has been and always will be. My friend is a sales rep. for a pharmaceutical company, (she goes to Dr. offices and advocates for newer meds), they told her she could increase her sales if her breast were larger. They offered to pay for the procedure if she was interested. Although a little offended at first, she quickly took them up on the offer and is quite happy with the outcome.

Hi ;
Just be the first to launch a new fashion, into which even normal
people have the right to exist!!!!!!!! Do not pay attention to what's
being written or said : be yourself and push others be themselves
as well!!! Society is driven by evil fashioned ideas about sex and
pain. Neglect ! Be yourself and set an example for others!
Ciao.........John-John.

I do think that good looking people tend to be more popular at school. However, when it comes to getting a job, if they are no good, they will not get on. No boss is going to keep on someone just for being a pretty face (unless she is sleeping with him).

We are simply primates. We are following biological impulses. The neocortex isn't used when mating!
