Would letting drug dealers out of jail help society by allowing them to sell marijauna. By selling, in turn pay state tax on how much they sell and use that money (Millions of dollars) to build affordable homes, fix up schools, and contribute to local and state run programs. Giving hard honest workers a tax break.

no, you could decriminalise marijuana and make cheaper paper from it though

this is thicker, stronger and grows quicker than trees - u can also create a kind of fuel and i suspect if marijuana was decriminalised completely but still ilegal then some of the 'bad boy' image attraction it has may wear off

You do not need the low lifes on the street. If you are going to sell it sell it like anyother tobacco product and tax it real good.

of course a police officer is going to tell you to turn him in, duh if you want to help your friend, getting him caught up in the system is not the way to do it. it will only cause grief to his family, he will probably hate you if he ever finds out, if anyone else finds out you could get hurt by the dealer or someone, it will cost him or his family thousands of dollars for lawyers, bail, fines, probation fees, etc. he will have a criminal record that will follow him for life, and make it hard to get jobs. also, people with drug convictions can't get federal funding for college, so you could be ruining his chance at getting an education. the criminal justice system is not set up to help people on drugs, it is set up to punish them and make money off of them. if you want to help your friend, tell him you think he has a problem, and that you are there for him if he wants to get help. you can only help people who want to be helped. if he doesn't want it, then yeah that's sad, but you will not be doing him any favors by snitching. you're not a real friend if you try to ruin his life or "scare him straight". Yes it's painful to watch your friend do that to himself, and if he keeps it up he will probably get in trouble on his own, but don't be the one to bring that on him. i would never, ever forgive someone for that.

I don't think the dealers are going to want to have a cut taken out of their profit for taxes.
