My god is that storyline still going on? I gave up watching weeks ago. Am sick of the whole Downs syndrome thing and the silly naive pathetic Ruby storylines. Just goes to show that a private education can not buy you common sense: How can she not see that that guy is only after her money.
As for the Down syndrome thing I don't like the way they are tackling the storyline. I understand it can be difficult for some to bring up a Downs syndrome child but I think that Eastenders should show that having a Downs syndrome baby does not always have to be a bad thing. I think they should have concentrated on showing how despite difficulties, Downs syndrome children can also bring joy.
