Sucess breeds contempt I am afraid.

Liverpool in the 80s, Rags in the 90s, and now Chelsea.

To be honest, the current crop of Managers (Fergie, Wenger and Mourinho) dont help the cause, but the media does love a quote to stoke the fire of a story.

Real Madrid and Barca are probably the most disliked teams by opposition fans in La Liga, and I assume Italy is the same with Juve and Milan's, but as I said success is the breeding ground for hatred.

No one is jealous. They are talked about a lot because they all get paid such large salaries, and do not always earn them. With their salaries, every game should be spectacular and professional, but they are not.Sometimes one wonders if they have forgotten why they wanted to be footballers in the first place.

Well you are correct in your question about one team but wrong about the other two, but I do not think it`s got anything to do with jealousy.
