Hello every1,i'm in need of help for 1 of my friends who lives in the sacramento cali area.?

Question

As u know the hollidays r comeing up and they're having money problems.They stay in a small apartment where the rent is extreamly high plus the gas and electric too and are behind on the bills.They're not asking for help so i thought that i'd do it for them.I help them when i'm able to with the electric, and the gas isn't even on, i think that if they could get help when Christmas comes with clothes and toys for the kids (1 girl 10 and three boys 4,6,8) That it would of course make the kids Christmas like it should be for all children.So if any1 can give me info on where to go get help in sacramento i'd greatly appretiate it. Thank You

I would start with the Sacramento Chamber of Commerce. The might have info on holiday food,clothing and toy functions that your friend may qualify for. Also as far as the utilities go, see if your friend qualifies for asistance from the companies themselves. Down here in L.A. we can receive discounts on our bills if we qualify. I also did not think that by law, certain utilities, like heat, could be turned off in a home if there were children living there. Your friend really needs some help. Good Luck!

I'm not from the west coast, but how about your local Church or Toys for Tots or maybe there's a local food pantry that could advise you of programs that could help. A lot of times during the holidays they have programs that sponsor a family in need.
