I am 33 and female. If my child were gay I would accept it . It is what is on the inside that counts. I would rather my son be gay and a loving human being, than straight and a jerk. Think about it this way. If anyone one loves their child, truly loves them, than you can accept them no matter what their lifestyle choice. If someone would say that they would not love their child anymore, than they never really had true love for them in the first place. I do have a son, so this is coming from a Mothers perspective. Understanding, trust, and Love are truly the most important things

I am female and 21. I would accept it if my child was gay because I feel that a parent should have unconditional love for their child, no matter what. There are far worse things than being gay, and even though I would prefer them to be straight, my feelings about them would not change at all if they were gay.

Female - 17 ( 18 in 3 weeks )
1. I do not have any kids and if I do in the future and if they are gay, I would accept them. Part of that is because I am bisexual. Even if I was not bi, I would still accept them. I would accept my future child because it is their decision to be what they want and it is something they can not help.

I am a female in my late 20's. I have two children, a boy and a girl. I've thought about this plenty of times because my son is very soft. I would love him if he were. I don't want him to be because it's wrong and immoral but if he were i'd invite him and whomever for every holiday and sunday dinner. Now my husband would never speak to them again if they were. Sad I think. The reason I would openly accept them is because they're my flesh and blood. I brought them into this world. They are half of me. I love them with all my heart and I just want them to be happy.

I am a guy 27 and my daughter is rather young to be coming out (one) but if she were to tell me one day that she was gay I would have absolutely no problem... her grandparents at least some of them, and I'm not kidding might disown her, but if she knew who she was and was comfortable then I would be very happy for her. I just want her to grow up and be happier then I am and not hurt other people, what ever works for her is fine.
