Dell laptops are JUNK. Lose keyboards and flaky mouse pads become unrepairable. I would favor an HP.

But I prefer Toshiba. The new Fingerprint reader makes stealing it SILLY. Consider the fact that 20 million laptops were stolen last year. Otherwise, Toshiba is well made with great tech support.

Go with HP. Better customer service and they don't focus only on advertising.

As for those fingerprint readers, its a load of crud. If someone does take your laptop without you realizing it, they're probably smart enough to realize they can just take out the hard drive and have all of your information. Theres no sort of physical security on that.

I've only used Dell. I think they are the best value for the money.

Hp is kinda better to me.But a toshiba is good too.

dosnt matter which brand just make sure you get at least a 2 year warranty
