Wachovia offers several type of checking accounts. What exactly are you looking for in a checking account?

check out their website www.wachovia.com, call 1-800-WACHOVIA and ask to speak with a sales rep, they'll tell you what you want to know.

ask for fee information (like NSF & overdraft) and have a comparison with other banks.

are you a student? you may qualify for a student checking & free savings.

are you employed? your employer might have a partnership with the bank to offer you discounts/competitive pricing on the At-Work Checking account.
