Gmail is jus a cleaner form of any other mail. It does not feature adverts like Yahoo or AOL and is free. You can see all your contacts on the left organised and you can also chat from within the same window.
You also get other free features from gmail like calendar, docs and spreadsheets, groups etc.
And Gmail is also compatible with other google software like Picassa, Desktop, etc
You can also view links to pages of specific intrest which u choose

Yes I do. It's different. The whole system is different. But it's not my default mail program. I use Gmail occasionally.
I know it's not much help, but to answer your question Yes or No whether I like it or not I answer Yes.

Yeah, I use GMail for my business-related stuff. It's good because you can store so much email there (you don't ever have to delete any if you're a pack rat). It's easy to use.

Its not bad, though I don't use it for personal emailing. I have several accounts, and since gmail gives you so much storage, I use it to store my music, that way I can download it and listen to it from anywhere, without having to use memory sticks or anything.
