I have a small bet going with somebody who says the guy never sang in that or any movie.

Oh, yeah. Thanks Roert S. The flick was "Paint Your Wagon", a really fun film. This must be the one in which he (the LATE Lee Marvin) 'one-punches' his horse - a gag they couldn't ordinarily pull-off in any movie but it worked in PYW.

Robert is correct. Lee Marvin did not sing in Cat Ballou. He won the Oscar for it but many people think that his horse should have won.

Marvin and Clint Eastwood sang in Paint Your Wagon which is reputed to have been the WORST singing ever in a major musical and contributed to the demise of the hollywood musical as an art form.

Hmmm... the late Lee Marvin...

As Kid Shelleen in "Cat Ballou" (1965) did NOT sing... Nat King Cole and Stubby Kaye sing/ narrate in spots of the movie. Marvin DID win the Oscar for this movie

Lee Marvin DOES sing in "Paint Your Wagon" (1969)... including a terrific solo "I Was Born Under A Wandering Star".

His recording of the song "Wanderin' Star" went to number 1 on the British charts, which also earned him a Gold record

Actually, yes he did. He sang "I was born under a wandering Star". It's one of my favorite songs.
