Which do you think make the better pet? And why?

Up to about 2 years ago I was a total cat person. Then a little guy entered my life, a little Maltese. He is just the best pet, friendly, loyal , easy to train, a joy to have around. I am so sold on this dog that I now would not ever be without one. I still love my cat but cats are for themselves while the dog is there to please you.

Both you can't judge a dog against a cat or a cat against a dog I was a dog lover but now love both because I have a 10 year old dog who I love and we recently got another cat and I now love both I'm not sure but I think by 5% I like dogs more but I think they're both great because they each have their own personality's in some cases dogs are better and in some cases cats are.

I prefer cats. I own a golden retriever and have for the past 13 years, but before I bought him, I owned a cat. I had her for 10 years, but she got killed on the highway near our home. I have always been a cat lover, I don't dislike dogs, just prefer cats.

Dogs will listen better then cats and are not always crawilg over you.. They come in difrent sizes and look diffrent more choises to make when getting a dog.. with most cats it is just colors.. dogs are color, size and bread.. they also come as small if not smaler then a cat too..

Dogs. Cats are too independent. Dogs are a lot more fun than a cat.

It depends on your lifestyle. I prefer cats mostly because they are far easier to care for then dogs and because I have limited space for an animal. Also I like that cats can take care of themselves yet still be loving and friendly. I am especially fond of my cat Leo because she loves to play fetch!

I prefer dogs because they like to cuddle. Cats usually like to lie down on their own. Also, most dog breeds don't shed as much.

i think a dog they will protect you when you go out and thay will always greet you more than a cat would i love cats but i prefer dogs bye

i love dogs,
i think i have become scared of cats because my dad got bitten by one when i was little we think the cat had rabies. there also used to be a whole house full of stray cats that lived up the street from me and they always ruined our lawn and they got so annoying after awhile.
