I'm going to have this done in January. My youngest child is 11 and even though I weigh 129 pounds, I have a roll of skin on my abdomen. I have not been able to wear sexy panties and I feel self-conscious about it.

I made an appointment and saw the plastic surgeon, which is what you will need to do. I had three C-sections and all of the scars have healed up beautifully, so I am not too concerned about a scar, although it will go from hip to hip.

Infection is apparently the major concern and you need to be extremely careful post-operatively. As for pain, there will be some, I know, but there are good pain medications available and I will just look forward to being one naked babe next summer.

P.S: I'm getting a breast augmentation/lift too!

The pain after the surgery is controled with painkillers accordingly. The scar is carried out beneath the bikini line so it will not be visible. Some people just need a mini tummy tuck which leaves a shorter scar. Check out http://www.surgeryabroadguide.com for complete info and prices

Lots of skin just hanging there, hanging over, just like a very old person.

Tummy Tuck is not recommended.

Low Carbs, no caffeine, no sugar or candies.

Cardio Cardio Cardio 3 x a week.

1 hr. each workout.

And do crunches. Begin 10 each workout.

Build up to 75 to 100 each workout over a long period of time. Honestly, it takes time to loose ones tummy !! But you can do it.

Crunches 4 x a week.

Be patient with yourself and build up.

Most impt. = "Love and Accept yourself. Be good to yourself and always be forgiving toward yourself and others."

Me! I was in hospital one night, the pain wasn't too bad at all (nothing like as bad as a caesarean, if you've had one). I would highly recommend it, but make sure the surgeon you use has performed thousands of them and if possible someone who's been personally recommended. The scar is large, but sooo worth it. Good luck whatever you decide xxx
