Many consider Cambridge to be the best university in the world. It is certainly ranked in the top five. It is, therefore, difficult to get into.

If you have not done well in school, your best chance is to get a graduate degree elsewhere, do very well and then apply to Cambridge.

You should be aware that in most disciplines, the top universities accept students for PhD programs, but not for Master's programs (other than terminal master's -- like an MBA).
