Mary Kay...
Mary Kay is a premier cosmetics line, meaning it is rated equal to or better to the department store lines. It also has many ingredients that can only be found in Mary Kay.
Better, the prices of Mary Kay are lower because they do not pay the department store overhead. It is a home based business. Because of this, consultants are also able to make a higher commission than any other home based cosmetics line. Also, by specializing in skin care and a few other select products your consultants are experts in the entire line and usually carry everything in stock so you don’t have to wait for delivery. Mary Kay does not carry shirts, underwear, toys…they only carry what is tried and proven so that they can bring you the very best.
Your consultant can let you sample the product, and any product, and in the event there is a purchase that you were unhappy about, will take it back and honor the 100% guarantee. There is in fact something for everyone within the Mary Kay line. There are the staple moisturizers and cleansers but there are also specific ones for specific needs that your consultant can tell you more about. There are actually 7 types on foundation in all different shades and so there is something depending on your skin type and your preference.

As a makeup artist, i will honestly say that I've tried and tested every product. But my two faves are Bare Escentuals because it's completely natural and will complement oily to dry skin and fair to dark dark skintones. Their products will also last a really long time, since everything in their products is derived from natural ingredients, there's nothing that can harbor bacteria. Another fave is Smashbox. Their primers will do wonders for anyone's skin~from combating oiliness, redness, ashiness, and dryness. It's a miracle in a little bottle.

Urban Decay. They don't test on animals, have a great Vegan line of make up and they're just so pretty! Plus their business values promote difference not "the norm." Great from a moral point of view and their eyeshadows use very few binders, resulting in more pigment keeping the colours true. They have something for every scene i.e. natural, glam, glitter, punk etc. www.urbandecay.com

I like Clinique, Shiseido, and Makeup Forever. Both Shiseido and Makeup Forever are really expensive though. MAC is fabulous also.

I use Estee Lauder - It's pretty spendy, but it's REALLY good quality and lasts a long time. No creases in the eye shadow, tons of colors of lip gloss to choose from, and five different foundations - I found the perfect formula for my skin.

CoverGirl- I love their shades!Bare Minerals- they have my colors. However, I bought a GENERIC Makeup Kit ($20 - $40) and it was the best! It had so many different colors to choose from.It came from Ulta Cosmetics.

Bare Escentuals. It is expensive but it works great. It is all powder and is not heavy at all and it actually covers without being thick and it doesn't even look like you are wearing makeup.

I mostly use Lancome and Clinique because I like the products and I like what they do for my skin. Cheaper brands change the texture of my skin and cause me to break out more often.

Bare Minerals.. it is so good for your skin and makes it look great! It doesn't make me break out and doesn't make me all greasy like everyother makeup I have tried. It stays on all day too!
