I was thinking about buying my boyfriend a pair of NASCAR tickets as a surprise for next year's second race at Richmond (the one in Sept.). What are the best ways to find the cheapest price for the good seats? Also, I overheard him and his buddies say that it's sold out... so this might be a problem. I have already went through NASCAR.com and didn't come out with much info... I prefer seats at turn 1 and 2.

Check with the ticket office of the track you want to go to.The ticket brokers will charge you a ton of charges and you will pay more that face value.

The best way is to contact the track that you want tickets to. They know exactly what they have and are always very helpful. I have gotten tickets off ebay with no problem, except once...the tickets got lost by UPS and was a terrible situation for the seller and myself...I dont really like ticket brokers as much, but will usually have "sold out" tickets at a higher price....but do check with the Richmond track first...

Good luck with that...Richmond is probably one of the more difficult tracks to get tickets for. I used to be a season ticket holder for Michigan and always ordered my tickets two months after the season ended. Usually going to the track's website is your best bet. If by chance they are sold out, you can try different ticketing websites, exchanges and that sort of thing...but be prepared to pay more than face value.

I'd CALL the track's Ticket Office directly, not even bothering with the track's website, or TicketMaster.com, or whatever online service they have offering tickets. That's how I've gotten my TMS seats the past couple of years, and got exactly where I wanted to be.

Go to the track web site that is the easy way and normally the can tell you everything you want to know from there If you still cant get anything contact a ticket agent.

I used the web site to get my tickets to Vegas, Fontana, and Sonoma and normally they have great deals
