These were found on a drawn pentagon at work. I assume each element has a meaning. Can you explain these? Or point me to a website where I can research.
Thanks

OK, Kitty Kat, a real witch wouldnt speak like that... keep practising mate.

Thanks Scot, seems like you know your stuff. I was asked this by relative, they found it in work on the floor, I assume they meant pentagram rather than pentagon. It was not poking around someones personal space, its on the floor of a main telephone exchange!
Your info seems good.

By the way they want to know because it worried some of the cleaners. Something I suspect a good Wicca would want to avoid!

Ok, first, I assume you mean a PENTAGRAM? (A star symbol). You do not say whether it was drawn on paper or sewn on cloth etc. Generally though, the symbols indicate the following:-
Purse - Wealth and abundance; Candle - Light/Fire (Spirit is light whilst fire is healing); Watch - I'm unsure of this one and this leads me to believe it was not a genuine Wiccan thing as we understand the Illusion of time; Egg - Represents fertility, life, new beginnings.

You should understand however, that symbols are only a focus for the will of the Witch. The intent behind any work done is of far more importance and without knowledge of that intent all you have is, perhaps, something intriguing to look at. It would be interesting also to know WHY you want to know??

It's probably a spell for making better time at work. The Five Pointed star surrounded by a circle has many meanings. Protection, prosperity and power are three of the main uses for the Pentacle.

The egg could be referring to wealth, health or fertility. The candle is probably energy. And the clock is self explanitory meaning time.

I'd say that someone thinks they don't have enough time in the day to get everything done at work.

i believe you are refering to pentagram.the items that you mentioned also, the candle,is used in rituals or as kitty kat says can be from samhain.the festival for the dead.the watch,i think that might be the meaning of the wheel of the year.because thinking about it the time, and than the wheel of the year.the egg, therefore as kitty says is the egg to a festival also.ostara.it is the begining of spring.i wouldnt worry to much about it though.they the ones that have placed this is just practictioners.

a pentagon or a pentacle? I'm a new witch but I know that in the wheel of the year, the egg is for ostara and the candle might stand for samhain (a bonfire is often used in the wheel of the year for samhain) And also that might be the person's personal magickalitem that he/she empowered to help them with work or other obstacles. In the future, don't go nosing around in people's sacred space or looking at people's personal things and belongings in general

Same old story. Pop into the office and find another pentagram on the floor, with odd items scattered about .Do you have trouble finding staff?

I'll guess:
If you've got money to burn, watch out so you don't end up with egg on your face!
