DNA test

The only way to know for sure is through genetic testing--and even that can fail if one of the other prospective fathers is a close relative (like a brother, father, son, etc.)

Once the baby is born, there are some obvious traits that might give it away--is it the correct race, does it have any obvious traits that you have that are rare (connected ear lobes, etc.)? Even little things can give it away. My son has a tiny pointed bump on his ear that his father also has but otherwise doesn't look anything like him at all--and he is DEFINITELY his son!

What is more important is whether you love the mother and the baby. If you love the mother unconditionally, then it doesn't matter whether her baby is yours genetically. If you think the woman is trying to trick you and you don't care about her, then paternity testing is the best method. If it turns out the baby is yours, then please do your duty and take care of it--it isn't the baby's fault that it was born!

Just ask the woman. Hey she'll always tell the truth, right? When the kid comes out with a different skin color than you, no DNA test is even necessary. Woo Hoo.

Get a DNA test. This can be done through amniocentesis, or after the baby is born.
