To put cameras in (sorry for the typo)

I don't mean to imply they are doing it now. I am simply trying to understand how far people are willing to let the government go in the name of keeping them safe.

Bush's characteristics are eerily similar to a dictator.

It's not ok,and its not ok for Republicans to walk all over our American rights!

Not agreeable. What the hell is a government to monitor anybody with a camera. If a camera fixed in any house , the government will have to occupy security too.Very costly to allocate funds to buy cameras for all houses. If the government fix cameras to monitor ones house, the government official will be able watch only the a s s e s of the inmates.

absolutely not! now if they monitor people in public.. well that's public.. put cameras wherever you want.. but the home is private property and it's a violation of your rights for the government to look IN your house .. that's not to say they can't legally watch outside of it though.

EDIT.. ok.. so i had to throw this in here just to spice it up... in the first Gulf War i remember a story about there being cameras in some of the computers that had been sold and that is where the government was getting a lot of it's intel from... so the question is.. are you on camera right now? :)

I only know a couple of people who are deeply spiritual beings. Not necessarily "seekers," because we don't seek spirituality, it kind of inserts itself into our lives naturally through a process of elimination, I think. When you start thinking about all the possibilities involving Creation, our existence, our relationships with each other, our feelings towards one another, whoever is capable of going deep enough within will end up finding that they are more than just a pile of flesh and blood. That there's more to what we are than meets the five senses. Sadly, everyone else in my life is still stuck in old beliefs, usually fueled by Sunday's at church, where a pastor or a priest offers them their version of what they think happened. And this version is accepted entirely and without questions. Do these people also seek spiritual truths? Yes and no. They seek to know just enough to get them to heaven, that's for sure. This heaven that has been taught to them since their childhoods. But they don't really have any desire to go deeper than that because, frankly, for these folks it's not necessary. Just trying to do good by others, going to church and reading the Bible once in a while is construed as the best and only way to reach heaven for them. And so it is. **grins** Love and Blessings ☼

It is not ok, the government already knows too much about us as it is. The government has its place, but they need to stay out of the personal affairs of the law abiding citizens.

NO but if they do just hang a naked picture of your 100 year old great grandma in front of the camera lens so they have something to enjoy.

Yes, it's fine. They want to be sure that you're not eating fatty food, smoking, watching too much TV or disciplining your children.
Big Brother knows what's best for you, so just relax and be sure to brush after every meal.....or else.
