I really like Pink Floyd, but Nirvana gets brownie points for having talent in an era when it was rare.

Still, Pink Floyd takes the cake.

You can't compare the two... Nirvana was awesome for so long, and still when their songs come on I rock out to them but Pink Floyd is just f**king awesome dude!

In case you can't tell, Pink Floyd, no competition!

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!

Both are amazing.
That's not a question you can just ask.
They both bring something to music that you must respect.
Never could one just pick without thinking about their answer for an extremely long time.

Its Pink Floyd and Nirvana we are talking about here.
Not some non-influential pop band who is a fad and will fade out in less that a year. I mean, these bands made history. If you want to believe it or not.

As previously posted, no comparison. Floyd is one of the great innovative bands in rock history. Nirvana is famous because their singer was a nutcase, and so is his wife.
