Which lawyer? One of course was Atticus Finch, and the nickname of the narrator was Scout. You should really read it though. It's excellent! The movie is nothing compared to the book.

This is my favourite book of all time. Please read it before you see the film. If you must watch the film please make sure its the one with Gregory Peck who plays Atticus Finch, the lawyer. Scout his daughter narrates.
