I hate tourists. They clog up the sidewalk, gawk at the buildings, and block the entrances to the subway while they fumble with the MetroCard.

Some advice for those people thinking of coming to NYC and not wanting to feel the wrath of this pissed off New Yorker:

Do not walk more than two people across. I have somewhere to go and you're keeping me from getting there.

Do not look up while you walk. The buildings are tall, get over it. You slow me down and paint a gigantic bulls-eye on your back to muggers.

Do not stand in front of the turnstile unless you already have your MetroCard out and ready to be swiped. You slow me down and slow down the people trying to get out.

Do not take a subway map out on the train. Again, bulls-eye on back.

Do not come to my hole in the wall bars. We don't want you there. There are some nice tourist trap places that you and your kind are welcomed.

Most importantly...

Do not stop walking in the middle of the block unless you are going into a building or getting into a cab. In those two instances move to the side of the curb with the building or cab. Never ever ever stop in the middle of a block or I will walk over you.

Ah, I feel much better now.

So many things piss me off during a normal day. Let's see:

1) ppl chewing with mouth open
2) gum chewers, especially those in customer service...ie. waitresses, clerks, bank tellers, etc. And there's a lot where I live.
3) people who interrupt you when speaking
4) people taking credit for something you did / said
5) other drivers
6) crude remarks from boyfriend
7) two-faced co-workers
8) bad telephone etiquette (happens all day with me as most of my job requires me to be on the phone and I hate rudeness)
9) standing in line at the store, clerk sees you but instead continues to talk to a friend / co-worker / family member while I am standing there waiting to pay and get home to my kids

The list could go on and on. Although some of the things I list happen daily, majority happen not during one full day but span over a few of them. At either rate, they all piss me off.

Ohhh, good question! I clean the house from top to bottom, putting everything away before I go to bed each night, I vacuum, mop the floors....etc.... every night! But what burns my ***, is I come home to a dirty house every single night, not a one of my family member puts anything away. It's a vicious cycle and not matter how much I complain day after day.... no one changes. I clean it up every night because I can't live in a messy house!

People who litter ... I hate it ... if we all wanted to live in a shitty world then there would be no reason for trash cans ... what's so hard to walk a few feet more to throw away your soda ... it's worse to listen to people complain about how dirty their city is ... and a few moments later I'll catch them throwing a gum wrapper down on the street - hello it's still trash ... how simple can it be - trash goes in the trash period - if there's not a trash around wait ... hold on to it or keep it away until you find one ... !

So don't tell me I live in a dirty city - if you don't want to help keep it clean ... !

People in stores (working or customers) who don't understand english completely, and then get angry at you because they don't understand what you are saying.
I'm working at a department store at the moment, just over the Christmas period for some extra money and man alive are the people that can't speak english annoying, I have had to reduce myself to drawing pictures to this one lady cos she simply did not understand what i was saying!
I know its racist of me, and I appologise in advance, but people should live in an english speaking country when they can speak english, its really annoying being on a bus, or in a store and all you can here is Asian languages being spoken when your in an english speaking country, I would be more than tollerant of it if i were in asia, but in english speaking countries i think that residents should be fluent in english. They are more than welcome to be fluent in whatever eles they like, as long as they can speak english. Thats my pet hate, i hate it... I am at university in Auckland newzealand where english is our prime language and 2/3rds of the students are asian and speaking asian languages all around you its really annoying... Its not just asians sorry seems like im targetting them, its anyone really if you are living or studying in an english speaking country you speak english, i mean if i went to go live in rome i'd learn italian, the annoying thing is our government and society caters for the people that cant speak english by putting everything in their native tounge, well i bet next time i'm in asia most things are written in characters that i wont understand

I try not to get 'pissed off' but the thing that annoys me the most are motorists who have absolutely no business driving a vehicle. Enough said.
