get a little compass to put in your car . .that way you will know what direction you are driving . .
try to keep in your mind which was is north at all times .. .
look at maps of your area . . try to visualize it from the air . . .look at google earth photos from above, too.

How long have you been driving? If you are a new driver, it is logical to have problems with your sense of direction, since you are concentrating on how to drive the car and you pay little attention on the enviroment. The more you drive, you'll start to focus on other things except manipulating the car and your sense of direction will increase as well.
If that's not the case, try to memorize locations or landmarks from the routes you usually pass, that should help you find your way the next time you pass from the same route. If you can, try also installing a GPS Navigation monitor on your car, this should greatly help you.

Well you have a couple options as I see it.
1. You can get used to asking for directions, where ever you go.
2. You can buy a compass and attach it to your dash board.
3. the best option, but also the most expensive, get a GPS device, then you never will get lost, they are excellent.

Why not invest in a satellite navigator like Tom Tom which will tell you to turn left or right etc? They sell for less than £100 these days.

Get u a compass and become familiar with it.one to fit in your car. There are some flight simulators that use compass headings to get familiar to flying out and use the compass to find your way back.

Are you a new driver? I was like that when I first started driving. If you are a new driver its not a big deal, you will get used to it.

draw a car from top and dont forget that
only front wheels can rotate now
try to turn left, right..back,.. forward
