Good Grief! I was thinking the exact opposite - RAISE it. And while we are at it since we have a floor, how about a ceiling? Say...75?

Of course it should be lowered to 13! But, at the same time, we need to outlaw cellphone use while driving. That way the increase in traffic deaths because of the age change would be offset by those lives we saved by outlawing cellphone use in automobiles.

Additionally, by lowering the driving age to 13, more young drivers would be killed off which would take some of the pressure off the job market. Older people wouldn't have to compete with so many young persons for jobs.

Also, such a law would be a relief to pallbearers at funerals. Young people generally weigh less than full-grown adults so carrying their coffins would cut down on back injuries to pallbearers. Not to mention ambulance drivers, hospital transporters, and morgue attendants.

Another industry that would benefit from a reduction in age requirements would be undertakers. Their business would increase substantially if 13 year-olds were allowed to drive.

There would also be a boom in booster seat sales across the U.S.

Sounds like a no-brainer to me!

actually no longer! 13 is lots too youthful-you are able to merely initiate staring at video clips with intercourse scenes or violence at this age. maximum 13 year olds does no longer even have the flexibility to be sure over the steerage wheel with ease and attain all controls and mirrors. sixteen is a great age the place that's, the adulthood ameliorations which you bypass by way of from 13 to fifteen/sixteen while using turns into an argument for you're huge. 13 is merely too youthful.
