I have a painful finger after 10 pin bowling. Still sore after 4 weeks. Will it get better? I'm 58 yrs?

I've no previous history of arthritis etc

I hate to tell you this, but probably not. I have the same problem. Are you a lefty? My middle finger swells up the next day. It has been 5 months and still have pain, not as much, but it is still there.

Your ball probably has holes too tight or improperly drilled(if you are a fingertip bowler). Conventional grip bowlers usually don't get this kind of problem. Rest your bowling hand for about 2-3 weeks and see your bowling pro again-he might be able to help.
