Ohio State doesn't rate that high in my book. Everybody talked about West Virginia having a weak schedule, look at Ohio State. They barely beat Illinois. But as far as Auburn, they don't deserve to be there either. They had a very controversial win over LSU and barely won over South Carolina. I'm all for a play-off system. I do think that the SEC rules and Ohio State fans can't argue that fact. They have played against an SEC team in 8 bowl games and lost all 8.

To he11 with Auburn, Louisville, Florida, Texas (who the Bucks have already beat), and USC. Ohio State had the highest ranking of all those teams after the bowl games last eyar, and once Matt and reggie went pro, it was Ohio State in the number 1. They have had the toughest schedule than any of those teams I just mentioned. USC lost to Oregon State. Texas, as I mentioned, lost to Ohio State. Louisville, Auburn, and Florida play in weak conferences. Ohio State plays in THE toughest conference in the nation. When they meet Michigan on November 18th, that will be the second time this year they play the number 2 team, and the 4th (or 5th) time they play a ranked team. Oh, and until this past weekend, they were beating teams by an average of what, 27 points or something???? Whoever said we had a weak defense when AJ Hawk and Bobby Carpenter went pro should have been paying attention. And if Ohio State should not be number 1, we will find out the hard way on November 18th.

Why does Auburn deserve to be #1 when they got killed by Arkansas???? Ohio State has done nothing to NOT deserve to be #1. Every team has at least one close game during the year, and last week was ours. Auburn fans should worry about getting to the SEC Championship game, not being #1.

Have you seen them play? Last week aside when they took a nap and sill won. These guys have been dominating teams. They beat 4th (or 5th depending on where you look) ranked Texas by 17 at Texas. The most points they have given up was 17 at Iowa when Iowa was ranked 13 and talking big ten championship. OSU beat them so bad they haven't been the same since.
OSU schedule and scores:
Sat, Sep 2 Northern Illinois W 35-12 --
Sat, Sep 9 at (2) Texas W 24-7 --
Sat, Sep 16 Cincinnati W 37-7 --
Sat, Sep 23 (24) Penn State W 28-6 --
Sat, Sep 30 at (13) Iowa W 38-17 --
Sat, Oct 7 Bowling Green W 35-7 --
Sat, Oct 14 at Michigan State W 38-7 --
Sat, Oct 21 Indiana W 44-3 --
Sat, Oct 28 Minnesota W 44-0 --
Sat, Nov 4 at Illinois W 17-10
What more are you looking for other than a win over Michigan which will happen in less than 2 weeks?

Ohio State has not lost a game, they beat are only team to beat Texas, and they have not done anything to drop a spot in the rankings. Michigan have also not lost a game. They are the only team who have beat Notre Dame and Wisconsin and they should be ranked number 2. Auburn has lost a game. They lost to Arkansas which is playing well, but that still means that they should not be ahead to the other two.

I'm not an Ohio St fan, trust me. Of course they deserve to be #1 until someone can prove they can beat them. They have 2 real games left, Michigan and the National Championship game. If they win those two games nobody in their right mind can claim they don't deserve to be #1.
Hook'em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Edit
You just removed yourself from credible debate by claiming Auburn should be #2!

Until somebody beats them yes they should be number1. Auburn should not even be #2 the top 4 teams should be undefeated and remain that way until someone is good enough to go and beat them.
