I honestly have no clue about anything when it comes to products. I started snowboarding last season and borrowed boards from friends, i road a burton, saloman and some cheap a$s hundred dollar board and couldnt tell the diference between any of em. Anyways. know any good models or brands that are cheap, yet will last? What should i NOT buy? Thanks

Burton is by FAR the best. The only problem with them is they are marketing geniuses and know a thing or 2 about getting your hard earned cash. My Burton Canyon is now called a Baron and has a $100 higher price tag. They are the EXACT same board. Stood them up side by side at the board shop, same EXACT info on the tags and everything. Like I said, it's all marketing, but they do put out a quality product. One of those love/hate deals, lol.
I have Ride boots and Bindings, had em for 6 years now so they definitly can take the wear and tear. Saloman makes some nice stuff too as well as K2-good boards.
When I bought my canyon, I bought one from the year before that the board shop had in the back of the rack. Caught a NICE discount.

well for bindings you could get some flow bindings they are al ittle expensive but they save time strapping in but if you want cheap. then go with burton bindings they have some pretty basic ones for around 50$.burton and lamar have some cheap boots. you could also try some local ski swaps they usually have good stuff cheap.

sure boot are very major. most often so much inns will hire boars and boots, however their boots are the type that lock into the board( with out the lifting bindings). So opt for the boots

Go to a sky shop they would have some boots for you and when you go snowboarding.
