Not really, That was a time ago, when it was a secret.
So dont rely on rings, or piercings or tatoos.
The rainbowflag is the only one I know you can rely on

I don't think so... I always heard a pinkie ring on a man means he 's in the mob.
As someone else stated rainbow jewelry while not too subtle usually means that the wearer is gay or at least gay friendly.
Perhaps look online at some gay pride jewelry sites and see the various types for sale.
Pink triangles or pink and black triangles hung on a necklace can be a sign .
A very subtle sign is the lambda symbol.Fairy rings or pendants can also be signs.
I have a friend that has a rainbow flag collar on her dog. She has met a a few nice girls while walking her dog.

I am not a lesbian but I sometimes wear a ring on my little finger & sometimes on my thumb.
I can honestly say that no-one has approached me & made lesbian advances to me. I think the theory is rubbish & if it was a secret sign how would everyone know anyway?

Apparently wearing a earing on the left ear is also a sign of a man being gay. there are many signs but I have to admit I never really notice them. I'm too busy observing everything else :-) I really have never cared about a person's sexual perferences. I just like to envelop myself in who they are. So I guess in this area of secret signs I can be naive........however I am aware that there is many, simply because I have been told.

many years ago a woman wearing an anklet was telling the world she was on the game... now one answerer says anything worn on your left ear denotes gayism. First I would like to know why and when the word gay meant a shirtlifter, I have always considered myself to be a gay blade but shear off any connections with the woofter boys.
Now, my left ear... where else do I hang my glasses?

it can mean you're gay/lesbian if you wear a pinkie ring, but it can also just be a signate ring.
av been told that the hand you wear it on defines whether you're top or bottom.
