I need an average of how much electricity different appliances throughout the house use. My roomate thinks I made her electric bill double however I know it is physically impossible based on the limited appliances I used while I lived there. Thanks!

take a look at the 6 months of electric bills that they paid when they were alone, not just one bill but at least 6 months, and then look at the new ones you are getting while living together. Also, if you moved into the house during the summer, naturally the bills will get higher since aircondidioning usle a ton. Plus, oil and electric went through the roof this year, so all utilities went up even if you arent sing more. That is the only way you can see if the bill really doubled. If it did, then yes, you are using the electric or someone is tapping into your lines from another apartment...but the bill amount should tell it all.

According to our electric supplier, the Dish Washer the Hot Water Heater and the Washer and Drier are the biggest users. The Heat and Air Pump is also a big user, but if it stays at a constant 72 all year long, your bill will be stabilized.
