I think there should be more restrictions on drivers the age of 16-18. If caught violating restrictions, license privledge taken away until 18.

Absolutely not! 13 is way too young-you can just start watching movies with sex scenes or violence at this age. Most 13 year olds wouldn't even be able to see over the steering wheel comfortably and reach all controls and mirrors. 16 is a fine age where it is, the maturity changes that you go through from 13 to 15/16 when driving becomes an issue for you are HUGE. 13 is just too young.

I would say no, one because a lot of 13 year-olds can't even reach the pedals, see over the dash, etc... Two, because a 13 year-old is not mature enough to be responsible for driving a car. I know that there are some really mature 13 year-olds out there, but that is not the norm.

No absolutely not - there are already enough irresponsible teens on the road. Many, though not all, do not have sound judgment to deal with all of the driving snaffu's that come up. I know, there are a lot of adults in the same boat. I think the driving age should remain where it is.

NO! But rather that all parties be required to retest every 5- 10 years. Hearing and Seeing tests as well, for many changes occur with licensed drivers....Too many deaf and blind drivers on the road. The elderly should not keep their right just because they are respectable persons of age. They too should be required to retest every 5 years. And there are very young drivers out there already by the way with Hardship Licenses.

F*ck no! 16 year olds are immature but more mature than 13 year olds. 13 year olds should just continue to play with trucks and Barbies.
I agree that it should be raised to 18.

of direction it would be diminished to 13! yet, on the comparable time, we ought to outlaw cellular telephone use on the same time as using. That way the upward thrust in site visitors deaths because of the age substitute may be offset by way of those lives we stored by way of outlawing cellular telephone use in autos. additionally, by way of lowering the using age to 13, extra youthful drivers may be killed off which might take the multiple tension off the activity industry. Older human beings does no longer ought to compete with such loads of youthful persons for jobs. additionally, the form of regulation may be a relief to pallbearers at funerals. childrens oftentimes weigh under finished-grown adults so carrying their coffins might shrink down on returned injuries to pallbearers. to no longer point out ambulance drivers, medical institution transporters, and morgue attendants. yet another industry that ought to earnings from a help in age standards may be undertakers. Their organisation might advance considerably if 13 year-olds have been allowed to tension. There might additionally be a advance in booster seat sales around the U.S. sounds like a no brainer to me!
