I was able to get my B.A. in History and High School Education by the time I was 19. I was also able to get my masters by the time I was 20. Now I can't find teaching jobs because I am so young. What do you think about this? Would you let your high school student be taught by someone qualified but only a couple years older?

I started teaching when I was 21.

One of the problems that you may not have anticipated is that some schools are leery of hiring someone with no experience but who has a master's degree. You cost a bunch more money to a district then another person fresh out of college without their master's.

You could always try to be a substitute for awhile in a district so they can get to see you in action without the commitment of hiring you on full time.

Good luck finding a job.

I substitute taught when I was just shy of 20. So I suppose some school districts would not have a problem. Good luck!

most school districts will allow substitute teaching if you are in college, and since you have a b.a., i don't see why you couldn't sub?!! and that's ridiculous that you can't find a teaching job.
