My sons XBOX does not recognize any game, new, old anything!!!!!! I bougth him some new games and has been impossible. Can some body help me because I was told that it may be the hard disk that's not working well.

^ Of couse the Xbox has a harddrive!!! It is the first system ever to have one. How do you think it keeps memory of the games on the system and needs no memory cards?
Anyway, your problem, I would say that something about the disk reader internally in your Xbox is wrong (since it obviosuly isint a single game that is the problem as it cant play any). I would bring it into the shop because since the xbox disk loader comes out (unlike the PS1 or GCN that is top loading) you cant see what is going on in there. For all you know, dust has piled up on the laser and you dont know it since you cant see. So yea, I would bring it to a repairs shop.

If it's an XBOX, (and not a 360) it may need a new disk drive. The Xbox doesn't have a harddrive.
Best bet is to find one through Ebay. First you need the instructions on how to replace the drive, and then you need to buy the drive based on what type you have now.
There are Ebooks on ebay called "repairing the Xbox" it has several pictures of the CD drive tray in it that will tell you what kind of drive it needs.
The Xbox is easy to get apart and back together again, but it would sure help if the person doing the replacement has SOME computer repair background (even adding computer Ram or something).
When I bought my replacement drive, it cost me $30 and hasn't given me any trouble since then.

yea your probably going to have to get a new one, but if you can go get a dvd cleaner and put it into the xbox tray, let it play and see if it can clean the lense. Maybe it will work, but if still not working go to ebay to buy a new lense for around 20-30 american dollars, now the hard part comes with installing it.
