ok the problem is 3x+2(5x-3)=7
-3x -3xwell first get rid of the 3x you do it by subtracting it
then 2(5x-3)=7-3x then multiply 2 to the perentesease
10x-6=7-3x then add the 3x to 10x
+3x +3x
13x-6=7
add 6 to 7
13x=13
then devide
13/13=x
x=1

Distribute the 2.... 2 times 5x is 10x. 2 times -3 is -6. This gets you:
3x+10x-6=7
You can figure it out from here!

3x+2(5x-3)=7
3x +10x-6=7, add similar numbers, subtract 6 then add it to 7
13x=13, divide both sides by 13
x=1

Begin with the part in parentheses. Multiply the 2 by the other numbers. Add the x's together. Then isolate x by dividing and adding the other numbers from both sides of the equation.

Distribute the 2 so you get
3x + 10x - 6 = 7
that gets you
13x - 6 = 7
Add 6 to both sides of the equal sign...
13x = 13
x = 1
