My boyfriend and I at the time had split up. I had sex with a guy on the 14th of July and had a full period on the 19th lasting 6 days. My boyfriend and I got back together on the 16th and planned to have a baby. So we started trying. My conceived date is August 2 of 2006 according to the doctor. I am due April 25, 2007 with my first baby. Since I had a full period and it was a terrible one. My boyfriend is the father not this other dude right? I asked my doctor about this and he said I am pregnant from my boyfriend because I had a full period on the 19th. Is he right? I am so ashamed and scared. Please help.

I'm a midwife and from the dates you've given, your doctor is right in that your boyfriend would be the father. However, the results of your ultrasound scan could alter your dates depending on the measurements / size of the baby, and the earlier you have your scan the more accurate it is. Pregnancy dates are calculated as 9 months plus 7 days after your last menstrual period so i'm sure your okay !
5 years ago i ovulated, conceived and had a period all in the same week - that was a kind of shock ! ! !

If the dates add up right then, yes it is your boyfriend's baby. They only way to tell for sure is to get a paternity test, I say this because I must warn you...there is a chance that it is still from the guy that you had sex with when you and your boyfriend broke up. There are cases of pregnancy were the woman has had periods while still being pregnant, that is how some mothers dont even know until the physical signs start. My boyfriends mother had her period, with all of her sons, for three months ( one week a month) when she was pregnant. Her mom had her period for 9 months straight when she was pregnant. Depending how bad your period was doesnt matter. Your best bet would be to get a paternity test, though those can be exspensive...or you can just wait to see what the baby looks like...if it has his features then your safe. And there is nothing to be ashamed or scared of...listen you two were broken up...if it is the other guys baby then it is...You didnt cheat on him or anything...and therefore you have nothing to be ashamed of.

Yes, it should be your boyfriend....
Unless later in your pregnancy they doubt your due date or the baby measures smaller than what it should be measuring.
As long as your period was on the 19th and not break through bleeding....your doc is right. Even so,on the 14th you probably had already ovulated and weren't fertile.

You are pregnant by your boyfriend. You had your period and then you concieved AFTER your period and that is when you got pregnant. Don't be ashamed and you want to check it out even further, go to this website http://www.mybirthcare.com/calculator.asp

Got to be your boyfriends, due date 9mth + 1week from day of period. Usually concieve around 2weeks after period at ovulation. So quit worrying and enjoy your pregnancy to the full with no doubt your boyfriend is the daddy:)

Generally speaking you become fertile 14 days after the first day of your period. If you have not been with anyone but your boyfriend since your period, then he is the father.

hello, and congrats!!! yes i had like 3 periods with my 1st pregnancy. in 1 month. i would start for 4 days stop awhile and did that 3 times one month. and guess what i was pg. so its not unlikely to happen. also my cousin had many periods while she was pg. yes its totally the b.f. dont worry too much it will make you sick take care of yourself and just look forward to having a beautiful baby!! have fun and good luck!!

Your boyfriend is almost 100% the father. You had a period after having sex with the other guy, so it's highly unlikely that he'd be the father.

Wow! ok, a full period, pregnant a month later.Makes it your bf i think.You could test later if you are not completely sure and he knows about the other guy. Calm down stress is bad for the lil one.you will get through this
