Children learn in spite of their teachers....The first thing I was taught at teacher training.

drilling is fine provided you understand what you are learning. The multiplication tables are a good example of this. We used to memorise those tables like a poem. Did it help? Yes becasue they provided us with quick answers when dealing with more complex issues.

The fact is that there are some things you just need to know. You can either make the effort to remember it (and there are lots of techniques for that) or you can look it up in a book every time you need to know.

I find drilling the students to be a good idea. I usually take them out and march them around for about 30 minutes and yell loudly when they mess up. There is much to be learned from drilling.

Maybe you should rewrite your question as the other posters have suggested.

Not trying to be funny, but have you ever heard of punctuation? Like a period or a comma? Your run-on sentence is a bit hard to read and make sense of, and the number 2 (for "too") does not help. I am not trying to put you down, but it is a bit hard to understand the idea you are trying to get across.

I'm not sure what you are trying to ask here. If you would like people to have an easier time answering this question, you may want to go back and rewrite this. It is very difficult to read and understand.

Have a good day. :)

I have no idea of what you are asking... what do you mean by drill students???

A run on sentence does not help either!
