Because when her mother showed the scan/ultrasound picture of her (before she was born) to Chelsea, Chelsea commented that she looked like a squiggle.

Apparently when Chelsea, her sister, saw a pic of her in the ultrasound picture she said she looked like a squiggle and the name stuck apparently. Boy...did I actually pay attention in an episode of the 'Enders??!!
