Matching Dress to Man shirt/tie?

I have a navy blue dress with silver beading on the top. I have always had a hard time matching navy blue with other colors. My boyfriend wants to match me... he has a black suit but he wants his shirt and tie to compliment me. What colors should I go with for the HOTTEST look? Thank you!
