Here's my story.
First day of last period, Oct 10. I have a 26 day cycle. Did "it" on Oct 24. Had what I believe in hindsight to have been "implantation spotting" on Oct 30.

1st (ClearBlue Easy +/-) Pregnancy Test on Wednesday, November 1 showed something that resembled a dust speck on the vertical line of the + sign.
2nd test on Nov 2...more dust specks along the vertical line...a good sign...
3rd test on Nov 3...I could see a line but my husband wasn't convinced.
4th and final test on Nov 4...the line couldn't have been more obvious than if the embryo drew it with a sharpie himself...Even the Husband couldn't deny.

I wasn't expecting my period until today... so that's a definite positive result 3 days before.

I just happened to like taking the test and getting more and more excited everyday seeing a darker and darker line. But the Husband wasn't so crazy about me buying $40 worth of pregnancy tests.

If you're due on the 11th, you might see something tomorrow, but be sure to do another test in a couple of days.

Good Luck!

it really depends on what type of test you are taking....they now have these test that can determine pregnancy 2 weeks before a missed period so if you are insisting on taking one now then look for one of those...they are not always the expensive ones the can also be a store brand one sometimes just read the boxes.....but the best time to take it would be at a later date like in a few more days or even possibly a few days after you were supposed to start your period

I dont think even the best tests will detect pregnancy untill at least 3 days before your period is due. to get an acurate result you will probably need to wait untill your period is at least a few days late

Depends on the test. There are some that predict 5 days out from your period. But they are more accurate once you have missed the period. I tested negative when I should have had my period and it didn't show positive for another week.

No you need to wait until about a week after you miss your period at the very least you need to see if you actually miss a period before you test.

You could get a false negative 5 days before your period is expected even with a ept. Wait a few more days and you'll know for sure.
