Unfortunately yes, I regret it every day that goes by. The guilt has eaten me to the core and I know I can rid myself if I confess but confessing now would only hurt my husband and help me. When you hear that guilt will eat you alive. It's true. I cheated with a random person to get back at my husband for trying to choke me to death one night when he was drunk. Cheating was the worst thing I could have ever done and I wish it never happened.

Crazzy,
I have been married almost 35 years and no I have never cheated on my wife in any way. Thats what marriage is all about, I love my wife more than anything and I can't even think about such a thing. I was propositoned once in Las Vegas by a working girl and I told her to her face how much I loved my wife and I was not interested, she told me how lucky I was to have such a strong relationship. I consider myself a very blessed man.

Yes, I have. I am not proud of it, but you know, it's what got me and my kids away from the very abusive marriage I was in.
At the time, I felt it was my only way out.
I'm a pig for being a cheat, but he cheated too.
I've been single now 17 years, and still don't know if I'm ready to see if there is a decent man out there.

Been on both sides of that fence. In my first marriage, I cheated on my (then) wife several times. Had a lot of guilt. Finally got divorced.
My second marriage my wife (then) cheated on me...Karma lives!
Now that I know how it feels, I have never cheated in any relationship, nor would I advise it. Have been tempted, but always refused. I sleep alot better at night too....

No... And I'm not planning to! I married my husband for a reason and that would be committing me to him, so why cheat on him?
I don’t think I have guts to even THINK about cheating on him. I love him very much and will always respect him. I could never imagine myself hurting someone I truly love whether he knows it or not.

I have never cheated on my wife in 27 years.
I've never promised her I wouldn't sleep with others and never have expected her not to sleep with someone she wishes.
The only way I could cheat, was if I slept with someone without her permission to enter into a relationship with the other person.
I have slept with others. I was in a triad with two other people up until Jan of this year.
I usually won't sleep with someone I'm not emotionally involved with. Those in the triad I was very much in love with. And they me.
I am polyamorous.

No I haven't. Although, my husband is holding a huge grudge against me for something waaaaay before we got married. We were only dating (maybe only been out together twice before). I left a party with some other guy and not him. God, 16 years later, I'm still paying for it! And yes, it is hurting our marriage.

Absolutely...have you seen the statistics on this one? It is like 50% of people admit to cheating. Count the ones who won't admit it and it is probably like 75% or more. I have to laugh sometimes because I have heard some spouse saying something like, "Oh my spouse would never cheat on me"...and I know the spouse and their "friend". They will work it out sooner or later.
