I read in the newspaper and heard on the news about the verdict of death by hanging of Saddam Hussein. Do you think this might cause some extremists to cause a lot of violence all over Irak and also a possiblity in other countries?

It doesn't matter what they do to Saddam as there will always be fighting over in Irak, no matter who, no matter what. In my opinion, they need to hang him now and not let him live for about 20 more years. What he did was wrong and he should be punished accordingly. My b/f thinks he should be punished and tortured like he did to all those people, but I say let justice serve, at least he got a sentence and he is not free to roam about and kill more innocent people. When I heard he was to be hanged I thought to myself, they did that years and years ago, they're now bringing that back? I do think things will get a bit worse when his sentencing for hanging will occur. Now we got to get Bin Ladden the idiot. sorry, I just feel he needs to be caught and quickly before more innocent people get murdered by his hands.

Protest or no protest, Saddam Hussein's hanging would only be just if all his Western supporters, who knew what Saddam was allegedly doing, provided Saddam with the tools to continue his activites, all perish with Saddam Hussein. Therefore, I would also like to see all of Saddam Hussein's original Western supporters and croonies: George Bush senior, Donald Rumsfeld and his pals, Thomas Gage - Tony Blair and his imperialistic British bunch, Francis Smith - George Bush junior (for unnecessarily sacrificing the lives of innocent civilians), Dick Chenney and, perhaps, Colin Powell - guilty by association - all perish on the day Saddam Hussein is hanged!

Maybe Saddam should be sentenced to be President of the USA for a year. Based on how Bush is bashed all the time, that would be a fate worse than death.

That is just too funny. There is already alot of violence going on world wide due to this man and the so many other people like him. Saddam had this coming for a long time, but his people weren't allowed to bring him to trial. I feel that he should hang in the middle of his city and allow the people to give him his punishment. You will never know how sick and twisted that man is and I pray you never have to come across anyone like him. The nicest thing we could do to him was to hang him. He deserves so much worse, but we'll leave that to GOD.

Either way, there will be violence.

Extremists on both sides - some want him hanged, others want him free.

The best we can do is let the Iraqi's continue with their version of dispensing justice for Saddam. Justice is justice....not a popularity contest.

My whole problem with this is the fact that most of terrorists come from Egypt and Saudi Arabia and are trained in the Philippines but the American people are so brained washed into thinking that Iraq something to do with it that they will support anything. We have no right to kill Sadaam, his people have the right to kill him. He is a bad mad I will agree to that, but i mean jesus christ he didn't do bad things to us, our soldiers died because our president declared war on Iraq not because Sadaam killed them. And of course they (being the people of Iraq) will fight back, if someone invaded your home you would fight back also.

Yes, it probably will invoke some violence by his extremist psychotic followers. If you ask me though, hanging is not nearly a good enough death sentence for him. It's not painful enough.

I think it will give people an excuse to cause violence. There are violent people out there just waiting for an excuse for it.
