What an art filled question. God created Heaven and Earth, and then mankind in his own imagination, however Adam was lonely so woman was created as his mate, his equal, for balance as one. The problem with that statemen you asked is, Woman are more in population in the World at least 3 to one, and male birth is on the decline, Without woman there will be no natural births. And last but not least Women are the richest in number all over the world for they usually out live their rich husbands. Check it out it is all true. Man is but so is Woman and out of balance as we are today one can see why you pose this questions and it is commendable you have put this our in the open. Here is the joke:
"Adam told God he was lonely and God asked him what he would sacrifice to give him a companion? " So, Adam thought a while and said " Well I dont want to give up anything important, but something I dont need" God said, "Okay I will take one of your ribs." After the apple incident with the serpent and all the damnation, Adam asks God, "God I love Eve but why did not you make her more compatible and moreover more in everyway?"
And God said, "Well Adam you get what you pay for, and if you werent so selfish and cheap, you would have given up an arm and a leg to have a companion." Live love and laugh

That phrase was made up by women to make men feel like they are in charge, they really aren't though. All life comes into this world from a female, so I doubt very much that Adam was first anyway.
Because women are not as physically strong as men they have had to adapt and rule behind the scenes. If you don't believe that you have a lot to learn.

Alright now dude, I'm a guy but I disagree with that. this is not a man's world. it's not a "womens" world either. it's a world created for PEOPLE to live in. sometimes men mess up and women have to help us. and sometimes women mess up and men have to help. it's an equal thing going on you see. we help each other. and dude i feel sorry for u because some girls are gonna blast u for this question! lol

Who the told you its a man's world.and who told you you can survive witout women, the r created for a balance if it were only men, we'll just be fighting ourselfs,cant u see they r patient. Can't you see God created the sky and the ground. he created day and night, in main animals there are male and female, there is doll person and intellegent, rich and poor. tink of stuffs like this. women r created as partners for the men,evrybody plays his part and there are no 2 tins can be equal.cant u see no 2 identical twins r same. religions like islam teach this.so tink twice.

It's a man's world because man created a patriarchal capitalist society...they have banned all female knowledge and perpetuated the myth that females are inferior...

There is no god, so nobody was intended on it being one gender's world. Men are just stronger and usually faster, more coordinated, etc. Although that does mean he gets a lot of power, women still have their uses.
Women make babies and look pretty, and especially look great without shoes in the kitchen, but that's just my idea!
(just kidding)
