Learn the rules of money. You will not get there by yourself. You have to have your money work for you. You have to invest your time and money efficiently and effectively.

Read books, go to seminars, build a business, and learn, learn, learn. Money works, just learn it.

Work like a fool and don't spend. Get a job with all the overtime you can eat and make yourself the most valuable, reliable person there.
Keep your car until it rusts and your clothes until people start dropping dimes in your coffee cup. Dump $15,000 a year in a 401K and the rest into boring index funds that don't have much tax liability because they don't buy and sell a lot. Don't try to play the market or bail out when times are bad.
Don't bet on an inside straight.

There are many, but not guaranteed ways, to achieve that goal. No way is the best way. It may just turn out that you be made bankrupt too.

If you are lucky, a single lottery ticket may give you an immediate answer, but you may also lose it the next day.
