i was just informed by my doctor that i have the infection bv and i just got put on medicine so it should go away in about 2 days according to the doctor. but i was wondering if i should have my boyfriend checked for it too.

LOL some people.............. It is only something women can get and men cant. It is common to get it from sex and is typically not harmful unless left untreated than you may end up with Pelvic Inflammatory Disease.

bv can be caused by a variety of things tampons bubble baths harsh soaps when i got it i did tell my boyfriend but it really is nothing to worry about it is not a sexually transmitted disease you may have to refrain from having sex for a day or two so if thats why you want to tell him then go for it

yea but if ur infected u already know he is infected....but if u 2 never had sex u should still tell him and get him tested
