He did very little at Grimsby but vastly improved the situation at Scunthorpe. He'd do a good job at a lower league club but may find things tough in the Championship. He's inherited a team that is more than capable of surviving in the second tier. It's a hard division to get out of promotion wise. If the Wednesday fans want consolidation then he'll be up to the task. The play-offs are way beyond Wednesday this season and Brian Laws must have to admit this. It would take a very special manager to turn this team into a play-off contender next season. Brian Laws is not this special manager.

Hope not n Wednesday get relegated I'm a life long scunthorpe utd support follow them home and away yes Lawsy did great things for us but his job wasn't finished I'm hurt by this and so will many other scunny fans you've inherited a great manager so i hope your fans are great to him

He is not as good as Sturrock. He was never given the chance to play his strongest team before they sacked him.
Look how well they have played since they all came back from injury.
Sturrock should still be there, laws is a waste of money.
