When my parents died I got sick. It was a combination of unhealthy habits and grief. I missed them so much I didn't want to do anything. I eventually dealt with the grief and got healthy. The last time my hubby had to go away to work, we were apart for a month. I got sick then too, but not as badly because I still had to be well enough to take care of my daughter and I knew he was coming back! It's a sign of co-dependency and I'm dealing with it :)

I had a friend that because of circumstances we were not able to be friends anymore, and I actually felt pain in my heart. I didnt think it was actually possible but when I thought of them and the fact that I would never see them again, I felt real pain.

Yes, very much so. It hurt so bad. It is possible to feel the physical pain. Especially if that person has passed away and you know you will never get a chance to see them again.

Last year my husband left for Egypt for the year.
It started with a headache and then this two-month-long hellish ordeal of feeling like i was going crazy and just wanting to sleep. It felt like i had lost my mind.

YES! I'm a single mom and my daughter & I are close. When she went away to college I felt like someone had taken an ice cream scoop and dug out my heart. =(

Yes, on occasion when I wasn't feeling the greatest. Even for a friend I've never met, as a matter of fact.....

Yeah, actually. My sister moved to Alberta almost two years ago and every now and again I will think of her and my heart just feels like it's going to explode. I didn't realize how much I loved her or needed her untill she went away.... :(
