Peyton Manning is in the top 4 in every QB stat, has yet to fumble the ball (let alone losing a fumble), and is the top player on only the scond team in history to start consecutive seasons 8-0. Thanks to yesterday's game, the Colts are also the first team ever to win consecutive road games against teams with records of 5-1 or better.
LT is running like a machine... again... but the Chargers are not re-writing history at the moment. (Now, if here were over 1000 yds at the half-way mark, instead of on pace for "only" 1600 yds, it might be a tighter race... but the Bolts face tougher run defenses for the next 8 weeks (Denver twice, Seattle, KC), so LT is not likely to keep his numbers going too much longer.

L.T. is definitely deserving because he manages to pull the Chargers out of almost any slump they get themselves into. I'm also biased since I'm a Charger fan and San Diego resident :)
Besides, L.T. managed to take the crappiest franchise in the NFL and make it into a playoff contender.

LT's been an MVP candidate every year he's been in the league (***opinion, I don't know if he actually has). It's a crock. SD is so far removed from most of the NFL (geography wise --not as bad as seatle, but still out there) so it's like they don't want a player from here getting it. Honestly LT is one of the best football players in the league. If he doesn't get it atleast once in his career, that's a sure sign there's something underhanded going on (though there probably already is somewhere, it's a corporation so there's bound to be....but that's another rant, another day).

Rex Grossman or Peyton Manning these 2 quarterbacks have made NFL football fun to watch the way they put there teams on there backs every day these guys are so fun to watch when there on TV that's way i think these guys should win MVP because they both are carrying there teams in the right direction

I'd like to se LT do it, but right now, it's Peyton Manning's -again- to lose, and I hope he does lose it. But, he lost Edge and they're 8-0 after defeating Denver and NE on the road.
LT should still be in the mix.
Rex has been good, but it's the "d" that carries them.
If the Eagles were 6-2 or better, I'd say McNabb, but they let several winnable games get away already.

Right now I would say Peyton Manning is the MVP. He doesn't have a good defense and a solid RB. Yet, he has his team at 8-0. My second choice would be LJ over LT.

Right now it may be steve smith, LT, Rex Grossman, or maybe even Peyton if he keeps the winning steak but i think a qb will win it b/c they have more stats and are looked at as the leader of the team

Peyton and LT are both very deserving. LT is on pace to have 28 TDs this year and Peyton is playing the best football of his career in all areas. I think Peyton will go on to win it.
