Every Christmas, my in-laws do a "secret-santa" gift exchange. This year I pulled my sister-in-law's name. The gift exchange has a theme - Something for the garden. My sister-in-law lives in Texas and is very well off financially, so she pretty much has just about everything she could need. What could I possibly get her (for the garden) for a Christmas present?

It would help if it's something that would ship well through the mail since I don't live in Texas.

I would go on line to SmartBargins.com, or Overstock.com and look under garden or outdoor items. Not knowing your budget, they have a variety of price ranges for you to select from. There might be items on special because of the time of year when, with the exception of the warmer states, it gets too cold to garden. You could consider a hammock, a topiary, a beautiful umbrella. These are items that you would have shipped so you wouldn't have to worry about shipping it yourself, and the fee would be very minimal.

go to Target.com. They have some very cool garden things, and the site is easy to navigate.

Best part is, when you check out, you can have them wrap the gift and ship it (on some items they do not gift wrap due to size or weight) but they will send it directly to her with a free message even!

I do alot of my shopping online, and it has saved me many headaches!

i could provide her a present card to a uncomplicated place for 10 or 15 money. It would not take any thought, and she or he will do with it what she pleases. If no longer something, only provide her a Christmas card.
