His mother is working...It is a new job and she has to go for training for two weeks...If she doesnt she gets fired. I put in a movie so that he has something other to watch other than the blinking lights on his swing thingy...He was soo good this morning...but now...>_<....

Hello....Man I understand what it is like to have a baby crying when nothing is working you feel like you are going out of your mind...and I was the mom!! I think it is harder for a babysitter.
Here is my take on it. You have tried everything and he is not interested he is probably to the point where he is so worked up he is just gonna cry more or harder I dunno this is what my son did.
The only thing that did work for me was to wrap him snugly in a blanket like a baby burrito with his only his head peeking out. I don't know if swaddling works for this little guy but I had to swaddle him and hold him firmly against my body so he wouldn't flail alot or move too much and I would swing my body back and forth gently but enough for him to feel the movement and making "shushing sounds"
I know a crying baby like this is enough to drive you mad he doesn't hate you he just does not know how to communicate so they scream.
One other thing you would have to talk to the mom about this but my son was really really colicky cause his tummy hurt so much, especially around the age this guy is. I bought something called Gripe Water...here is a link http://www.babys-bliss.com/ this changed my baby in three hours it was amazing. All results are not the same but it can be worth a try.
Hope this helps have a good one...Jammie-Girl

Sometimes they want to be cuddled and rocked to sleep. Also, if you have a swing, those are great.
Bouncers with a vibrating mechanism will also get the air bubbles to come up. If they don't stop crying, usually it's gas in a baby that isn't sick. Not sure what the baby has, but make sure that it's taking all it's medicine if it has any to take.
Since you are in your apartment and not at the babies home, if you don't have any baby equipment around, hopefully you have a stroller. Just try pushing the baby around the hall. They like motion. Also, car seats on top of the dryer or washing machine seems to work also.
Best of luck.

Motion? Put him in his stroller and push push push in gentle motion or put him in the car..
It could be that he is over tired or missing his Mum or poorly or wind etc - one thing it will not be is personal against you! Unfortunately he cannot communicate that things ain't right for him any other way..
Another trick with a newborn (although he may be a bit old now but worth a try..) is to swaddle him and wrap him up to emulate the feeling of being constricted in the womb.. some people also think that gently saying a 'shushing' noise near the babies ear can work for the same reason,,
If it continues call his Mum - any mother would rather be told when her wee one is inconsolable than to come home knowing that he has been crying for hours - not to mention how exhausting this is for you..hang in there it is awful when a baby cries and cries.. keep calm and do not take it personally..

Can you run to the store real fast and get a baby bathtub? They're only like $15-$20. Give him a nice soothing bath and then lay him down for a nap and that should really help.
Or, maybe just call his mom and tell her you're going to her house to take care of him. It would be much easier for him to be at home because you'll have everything you need. I'd do that..and also, your aunt should have never asked you to watch a sick baby--that is really kind of rude and especially irresponsible.

You can give a bath with no special equipment. Just run a couple of inches of warm water in the tub and lay him on his back in it. Make sure you watch to be sure he doesn't roll facedown in it. If that does not help, just hold him close, say shhhh in his ear, not too loudly, and sway/rock. Sometimes there is not much you can do, but it is important to keep trying and let them know ther are loved and cared for. Call his mom and let her know too, she may want to come for him. Good luck

can you maybe take him for a walk or a drive? I know that when my son is crying like that...he enjoyed a bath...a nice warm bath calmed him down immensely....
He could be tired---swaddle him (wrap snugly in a blanket like a burrito), turn the lights low, maybe offer a warm bottle and just walk or rock....(my son hated rocking, he's a walking baby)
I hope one of these work for you!

sounds like she could have her days and nights mixed up yet you suggested that she basically does it with you... so if this is a threat attempt getting somebody else to place her down for the night... or what I had to do with mine reason i did no longer have every person else to assist me replaced into gave them a sturdy heat bathtub and made the bottle somewhat warmer to assist soothe them and walked a a lot of flooring they're going to improve out of it yet interior the advise time you're able to be able to experience like your gonna bypass nuts regardless of if it gets greater suitable then you certainly will think of back or maybe miss it... sturdy success and that i'm hoping this has helped

The mother should not have left a sick baby with you. Call her now and tell her that the baby needs her. It is irresponsible for her to leave him with you.

Try laying him on his back and rub his little tummy. This helps. Do this while rocking him also. Talk to him, hum or sing. Put a pacifier in his mouth. Good luck!
